7 Weeks

In seven short weeks we will be meeting our third son.

The Verge of Summer

We are on the verge of summer here in Minnesota and can't absolutely wait for it be warm/hot again.

A couple of weekends ago, we went to Lake Calhoun to ride bikes, stroll the paths and have a picnic. It was a lot of fun but the lake was still frozen over. So that was a bummer, but the kids still enjoyed the weather.

We also had an impromptu bbq at my friend Kristin's house. Her son Lucas and Maxx attend preschool together and are great buds. So we have become really good friends too. It's so great to meet someone that you can really chat with and no feel judged.

Also that we weekend we were able to fly kites. It was just the perfect weather for us to do it....

plus it was our very first time flying kites with our kids. It was such a great experience.

I can't wait to do it again.

It was a great weekend that will be hard to compete with but I am looking forward to many many more weekends like this this summer!
